Carmichael Enterprises Residential Programs Ltd. is a CARF accredited organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of persons served. Our skilled team of Community Outreach Workers provide support to adults with developmental delays, mental health concerns, addictions, and often severe behavioral challenges including aggression.

Ensures the well-being of clients in the program and promotes their development. A key component of this job is to assist clients in their physical, social, emotional and daily life skills development which increases their independence, allowing them to function well in the community. Identifies community resources that will meet clients’ needs. Provides liaison with other agencies, and professionals within the community. The Outreach Worker typically works with clients in a community-based capacity. Use of own vehicle is required with adequate liability insurance.
Applicant Requirements:
- Education, training, and /experience working with persons with developmental delays and behavioral challenges
- Current clear RCMP Criminal Record Check
- BC Class 5 Drivers License
- Valid First Aid certificate (First Aid – Community Care Facilities preferred)
- Current immunization records demonstrating compliance with the province’s immunization programs including public health orders related to COVID-19;
- Clear TB test;
Compensation: $25.08/hr to start. Benefits for full-time employees are employer paid and include RRSP matching.
